作为第六届我国工业规划周暨2011杭州工业规划周杭州工业规划立异营系列活动之一，此次活动旨在为广阔学子建立一个想象未来电梯的渠道，提高大学生的立异才能和实践才能，增进企业工业规划的原创才能，亲近企业与规划学子的联络，扩展世界规划沟通与协作，推进工业规划的开展。
环绕“空间的解析”这一主题，广州部分超市电梯未设“剪刀口”，活动将经过调研、评论、教育、规划实践等方法进行课题比赛，终究角逐出集体及个人奖项，获奖着作将于10月在杭州市文创饱览会上展出。来自新加坡国立大学的规划学博士许晓峰也加入了这次规划营活动，并向浙江大学的同学们介绍了很多国外电梯规划的经典事例和规划理念。

Elevator Innovation Design Competition Held in Zhejiang University
With the developing of city, the high buildings have been growing quickly, and the elevator has been the necessary vertical tool in daily life. How to manufacture the “safe, comfortable, energy-saving” high speed elevator has been the focus of the enterprises.
On September 21, 2011, the “WORKSHOP” Elevator Innovation Design Competition was held in Zhejiang University.
“WORKSHOP”, which aims at creating the design team to meet the R&D demands of enterprises, is a process to design the new products with the efforts of the team.
The activity is proposed to provide a forum for students to create the elevator in future, enhance the innovation ability of students and enterprises, tie up the connection of enterprises and students, expand the international communication and cooperation and promote the development of industrial design.
Around of the topic of “spatial analysis”, the activity sets the awards for team and individual through the ways of investigating, discussing, teaching and design. The awarded designs will be exhibited in Hangzhou Exhibition. Xu xiaofeng, Ph.D of design from Singapore, has joined the activity and introduced the typical cases of elevator designs to the students.
